HELLO
Inspired by the marvellous signs of language, in my Zurich-based translation studio I connect thinkers and players from the different language regions of Switzerland (and the world) with their Swiss audience.
I'm Martina Knecht, the founder of Hypertext.
Founded in 2005, with Martina Knecht's Hypertext I pursue the vision of a global society in which cultural diversity is not a barrier, but rather an asset.
My mission is to connect people of all ages and backgrounds, promote innovative ideas and build on the Swiss multiculturalism through the use of language.
My strength lies in mediating between the territories north and south of the Alps. I often work with people who want to establish a constructive dialogue with their target audience in Italian-speaking and/or German-speaking Switzerland, whether it's a one-off project like the translation of a document, or an ongoing collaboration such as the translation of a company's digital content.
As a linguist, I am actively involved in the promotion of multilingualism in Switzerland and the inclusion of people with disabilities in education and culture.
